71 Glenavon Road is a 21 storey tower block on the Glenavon estate in Gilsochill, Maryhill in north west Glasgow. It is one of three blocks that were approved in 1966 as phase 1 of Area B redevelopment of Maryhill. Construction was carried out by Reema Scotland and the building, completed in 1969, contains 120 flats. The flats transferred to Maryhill Housing Association from Glasgow Housing Association in 2011. Maryhill Housing Association will begin work on improving the flats with a programme of over cladding early in 2012.
