'''53 Carbisdale Street''' is a 15 storey tower block in [[Fernbank]], [[Springburn]] in north [[Glasgow]]. It was approved along with three other high rises in the 1st development of the [[Fernbank]] project in 1961. Construction was carried out by [[Wight]] and the building contains 55 flats owned by the [[Asbury Court|Scottish Special Housing Association]]. It will be refurbished over the next few years which will see the balconies enclosed among other internal improvements. This comes after investment into the block in the 1990s which seen a pitched roof added in an attempt to eradicate dampness.
