Barmulloch is a housing scheme in Springburn, Glasgow. It was built on farmland in the 1930s through to the 1950s as Glasgow expanded. Housing in the area was most commonly tenements 4 storeys tall in the northern part and in the southern part, 4 in a block cottage flats. Most of the tenements have since been knocked down while the rest lie in a dilapidated condition awaiting demolition. Part of the Red Road high rise scheme is lin Barmulloch. 21 Birnie Court and two rows of tenements were built across Rye Road from the other flats in Balornock.
