Bridgenorth House was a 6 storey tower block on the Meadway estate in East Birmingham. The block was planned as Phase 2 of the Meadway estate and was approved in 1956. It was completed in 1959 by Wimpey using the no fines concrete method and contained 36 flats. The block slowly declined into a troublespot. Central heating was installed in the 1980s, but it remained inadequate for modern life with no provisional space made for modern furniture. High levels of anti-social behaviour reported. In 2007, Birmingham City Council approved plans to demolished the estate, and the block was demolished in 2008.
