Douglas House (Dumbarton)

Douglas House is a 16 storey tower block on Howatshaws Road in Dumbarton, near Glasgow. It was approved in 1970 as one of a cluster of four planned tower blocks. Construction was carried out by Crudens Ltd using the Skarne technique. The 44m tall building was completed in 1971 and contains 62 flats. It is expected to be demolished within the next few years.
