Humber Tower is a 16 storey tower block on Francis Street in the Duddeston Manor Estate. It is situated in the Nechells Green complex of Aston, Birmingham. Plans for the block were approved in 1964 and it was completed in 1965 by Stubbings using the Bison construction method. It is 47 metres tall and contains 92 flats. It is named after the Humber river in north-east England. Before it was refurbished, the block looked similar to those elsewhere north of the city across Aston, Bromford and Castle Vale.
The Duddeston Manor Estate is one of four that made up the Nechells Green / Duddeston complex of 27 tower blocks and part of the 67 council-owned tower blocks in Aston. While the estate and Cromwell Street Estate were mostly refurbished in the late 1990s, the other 2 estates (Kellett Road Estate & Rupert Street Estate) were flattened to make way for new low-rise housing.
The only tower block to be demolished on the Duddeston Manor Estate was Churchfield House.
