Kingsridge-Cleddans makes up the nort western quadrant of the Drumchapel housing estate in Glasgow. Built between the late 1950s and 1965, it contained 4 storey tenements, a school, a water tower and one tower blcok at Lillyburn Place. It was found to be the worst part of Drumchapel in 1990 and steps were taken to regenerate the area with the tenements and tower blocks being refurbished. This proved an unsuccessful venture as the housing was once again trashed by problematic tenants. At present, amuch of Kingsridge-Cleddans is derelict land. Slowly but surely new housing is being built.
