Langbank is a small village at the edge of Renfrewshire near [[Glasgow. It is completely isolated from other most of Renfrewshire and relies on Port Glasgow for most of it's amenities although it has close political links with Houston. Bishopton is to the east, Port Glasgow to the west and Houston to the south. Across the river lies [{Dumbarton]].
There are no council housing in Langbank. It is a very middle class village with large Victorian villas and small privately built homes put up in the post war period.
