The Long Nuke Road estate was a small council estate built along the southern edge of Long Nuke Road in the Bartley Green area of Birmingham. Approved in 1959, construction of the estate was started by Douglas the following year. It contained three 9 storey tower blocks of 36 flats each, built using the British Lift Slab method as well as Shenley Court Comprehensive School, which has since become Shenley Academy.
In the 1990s, much of the estate was demolished as a result of structural defects in the buildings and to allow for the reconfiguration of Long Nuke Road. The flats were replaced with modern low rise housing.
