Parkhead is a district in the east end of Glasgow bordered to the south by Dalmarnock, to the north by Carntyne, to the west by Calton and to the east by Shettleston and Tollcross. It is well known because Celtic Park, home of Celtic Football Club, is located in Parkhead and informally called Parkhead. The area is one of the poorer areas of Glasgow and a lot of the housing built in the 20th century are condemned or demolished. In Parkhead, there are also three sub areas:
