Prospecthill Circus is a high rise housing estate in Toryglen, Glasgow. Construction began in 1953 and ended in 1968. Housing consists of tenement flats, maisonette blocks and three tower blocks. It is famed for being one of the worst housing estates in Scotland in terms of poverty and deprivation and demolition on parts of the estate began in the late 1990s. In 2006, Sony shot their Bravia advert on the estate using a derelict block of maisonettes and the tower block at 24 Crossbank Road as the focal point. On the 21st of January 2007, the multi was demolished was demolished. Over the next 9 years, 'The Circus' will be completely razed to the ground to make way for the next generation of housing.

It is possibly a little known fact that Jim Kerr of Simple Minds was a resident in 24 Crossbank Road.
