Rachel Point was a 22 storey tower block on the Nightingale Estate in Hackney, East London. It was 65m tall and approved along with five other blocks in 1968. It was demolished on November 30, 2003 and Seaton Point is the only block on the estate that remains.
Top Gear, the BBC car television show, hoisted a Toyota Hilux to the top of the building before the controlled explosion. The car still worked after the demolition.
