Reddicap Heath is a village in a built up area east of Sutton Coldfield, bordering Sutton town centre to the west, Walmley to the south, Whitehouse Common to the north and the Langley Heath countryside to the east.

As well as consisting of the detached and semi detached housing estates of New Hall, it lies directly at the centre of the three blocks of the Berryfields Estate, The Mount and Falcon Lodge. Having had Falcon Lodge and The Mount constructed in the 1960s, it was not until the 1980s that the Berryfields Estate was built on the previous land of Berryfields farm. Although this was completely against the trend in the decline of social housing, the Berryfields Estate was constructed in part due to the decaying tower blocks in the nearby Stephen's Road in the south of Falcon Lodge and because of the imminent demolition of the Brook House tower at the centre of Falcon Lodge.

With the newer estate completed before the demolition of the four tower blocks, it was an easier transition for tenants most in need of new housing across Reddicap Heath Road. The demolition of Brook House in Falcon Lodge marked perhaps one of the shortest lived tower blocks in Birmingham due to subsidence. The clearing of the three tower blocks on Stephens Road right next to the new Berryfields Estate later on in the 1990s almost marked the end of a long gradual transition on revamping conditions in the area. The two tower blocks on The Mount were given a light restoration in 2002-03 as it was decided not to pull them down. More recently the pub in the village of Reddicap Heath, the Reddicap Tavern, closed down around 2012 and has since been restored and reopened as a tapas restaurant. As of the millennium 4 tower blocks peak above the skyline around Reddicap Heath compared to the 8 tower blocks that were visible ten years earlier. Because of the undulating landscape east of Sutton Coldfield, The Lyndhurst Estate can also be seen from various spots along Fox Hollies Road as it is also on top of a ridge in the form of the Gravelly Hills in Erdington. Fox Hollies Road also offers great views east and south-east over east Birmingham and north Warwickshire for up to fifteen miles.
