Whiteinch is an area in the west end of Glasgow. It is an area with a shipbuilding past being situated on the River Clyde. it is bordered by Victoria Park to the north, Scotstoun to the west, Broomhill to the east and across the River Clyde lies Govan. Housing in Whiteinch is mostly tenemental with a high rise at 64 Curle Street. It is among the first tower blocks to be refurbished by the Glasgow Housing Association in the city. There is a unique row of cottages called the 'Summerfield Cottages' just off Northinch Street.
