Woodstock House
Woodstock House is an 11 storey tower block on Killagan Bend in Cregagh, Belfast, Northern Ireland. It has 44 flats, and is adjacent to the identical Willowbrook House, close to George Best's childhood home on the Cregagh Estate. Both towers were approved for construction in 1957 by the Northern Ireland Housing Trust on the largely 1940s & 1950s development. They were the first highrise blocks to be built in Northern Ireland, and their success as housing encouraged the state to build more. In the late 1960s, the larger Kilbroney House was constructed on the main entrance into the estate.
